Auburn Astronomical Society

Biographical Profiles

Please "Copy & Paste" the questionnaire below into your e-mail editor, complete your responses, and send the e-mail to your Webmaster.  Also, attach a photo of yourself or you and your telescope(s) if available.

So that we can get to know you better, we'd like you to tell us a little about yourself.    Just in case you're overly modest, and too shy to toot your own horn, we've included a questionnaire to help you get started.    Street addresses and phone numbers will NOT be published unless you specificly ask for it to be so.

The optional section is completely optional, and is NOT a condition of membership.    Feel free NOT to answer any of the questions if you're not comfortable sharing this with us.    On the other hand, feel free to include anything that you feel would be of interest to the membership.    This information is simply to help the other members of the society to know you a little better.

I  will publish your biographical profile on the AAS  "Who are We?" page  if you don't mind.*    Links to your profile page will be found on the "Members and Friends" page beside your name.    See mine under Russell Whigham to see how it will look.    If you'd rather that some or all of the information not be published, just make that known in the "Your Space" box (item 13).

*  Because we've received a number submitions from non-members who never show up for a meeting or star party after their inital contact, we've had to change our policy on the "Who are We?" pages.  Due to disk space limitations on the server, our "Friends" will be required to attend at least a couple of meetings or star parties each year to have their page published and maintained. Members will enjoy no such restrictions.

You are not limited to the space shown in the form fields. Express yourself completely.
